Hi! I'm Mira

I could lay out all my credentials, how many years I've been shooting, and how many weddings I've done, but that's not really going to help you decide if I'm the right photographer for you.

First, you need to decide if you like my art (see portfolio below). Every photographer has their own style and that is definitely a factor in choosing the person to capture your wedding. I try to take it one step further—I develop a style for you. This means no two weddings I shoot will be the same because no two couples I shoot are the same.

Second, you need to decide if you'd like me as a honorary guest at your wedding—because that's essentially what I'll be! I want the front row seat at every special moment of your special day, so it's important we get along. Obviously it is difficult for you to determine this online, so please don't hesitate to book a Package Design Session (fancy term for coffee or wine and some laughs over wedding talk).

Third, price is a factor for most people, and I don't want to give you the "investment" talk that seems so popular these days. You know what you want and what you can afford, so I aim to meet you there. We have a quick but detailed discussion about your wedding photography needs and your budget, then I'll email you options that fit your plans and price range, personalized, just for you.

Some fun facts about me: I'm writing my fourth novel, though yet to be published; knitting is my favorite hobby; I'm Canadian and will never stop using the word 'toque' instead of "winter hat'; my husband (Pete) and I met when we were literally the only two people in a Vancouver pub one afternoon; while I'm not shooting weddings, I'm shooting landscapes from jagged Mountain peaks or developing a new lasagna recipe in the kitchen.
